K&A Home Design was started in 2007. We provide services for custom home designs, additions, and remodels with no job being too small. With years of engineering and design experience, K&A can provide a more comprehensive view when it comes to designing your dream home. Kent Butters - Owner/Draftsman

The owner, Kent Butters, was born and raised in Bradford, PA. He moved to Raleigh, NC in 1999 after serving in the US Navy. He is happily married with twin girls. Kent is very active in his church where he serves as a deacon and a youth group leader. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, playing softball, and spending quality time with his family.

Destiny Jernigan - Draftsman

Destiny was born and raised in NC. She received her degree at Wake Technical Community College in 2012. Once her internship was complete at K&A Home Design, Destiny went to work for a commercial firm in Raleigh, NC. In 2014 she returned to K&A Home Design full time and has been here ever since. Destiny currently lives in Angier, NC with her husband and daughter.
